WATERGUARD Home

Our WATERGUARD Home products are the cost effective solution to protect your home from the damage caused by burst and leaking water pipes and tanks and helps conserve precious water resources.

Quick and easy to install and simple to understand and use, the WATERGUARD Home times the continuous flow of water through the supply pipe. Each time the water stops flowing, the timer resets.

In most homes, the longest single time water flows is when taking a shower or running a bath. The user selects the maximum time setting that suits their lifestyle, with one setting for when the home is occupied and a shorter one for when the property is empty.

Using the simple language-free control panel, the resident sets a maximum time for water to flow continuously. When the maximum time is exceeded, WATERGUARD Home automatically activates the stop valve, shutting off the water supply.

The water supply can be turned on and off with one touch at the controller. When you’re at work, or away from your home for the weekend, or longer, the ‘High Guard’ setting, ensures that the water is turned off even sooner, whilst still allowing washing machines and dishwashers to work.

The WATERGUARD Home valve assembly is plumbed into the water supply where it enters the property, under the kitchen sink or a utility cupboard out of sight. One or more remote controllers can be located conveniently anywhere in the living area.

WATERGUARD Work.

Commercial and Public Buildings. For Schools, offices, factories etc.

Commercial and public buildings require more sophistication than residential Water Leak Detection units. Waterguard Work products will protect the most complex of building, room by room, floor by floor and the whole property. In this type of building, water can be used constantly throughout the day and night at varying levels of consumption, from 1 litre per day to 1M³ an hour and more.

Waterguard Work products monitor the volume of water in litres used in any selected time periods, which can be per ½ Hour; Hour; other period, or whole 24 Hours. There are two guard levels, one for occupied property and one for unoccupied protection.

Switching between the two guard levels can be done either automatically by the intruder alarm, or manually at the controller.

The user sets the maximum volume of water allowed for each time period. The audit page on the controller will advise what that volume should be, by displaying the Maximum and Minimum litres of water used.

If the maximum volume of water is exceeded in a given period, for example when a water pipe bursts in the night, the water supply will automatically be shut off, protecting the building and saving water.

As with Waterguard Home, once the problem is resolved, the water supply can be reinstated simply, at the controller.

The WATERGUARD Series 7 controller can monitor 2 or 3 separate water supplies and can be installed on pipes from 15mm to 150mm diameter as standard. For a detailed product description please contact us.

WATERGUARD Room Isolation Products.

The WATERGUARD Room Isolation products use Passive Infra-Red (PIR) to sense the presence of a person entering the washroom, kitchen, changing room etc., isolating the water, lighting and power in rooms that are not in use and only allowing the use of water and electric lighting when there is a person in the room. There is a short adjustable delay after the room is vacated, before the water supply is isolated and the lighting switched off. These units have 2 or 3 channels, for cold and hot water supply and grey/rain water tank where fitted.
